We believe that children learn best in a supportive and loving environment where they are encouraged by caring teachers. We believe that children should be given time, appropriate materials and engage in meaningful interactions to develop intellectually and emotionally.
The teachers encourage children to develop academically and socially. As they listen and learn with each child, they assess and guide the learning process and empower children to make sense of their world.

  1. Image of the child

Teachers can then shape and build on that knowledge by discovering what children already know through observation, one-on-one conversation, clarification, and invitation to explore the world around them.

  2. Positive Discipline

Spanking or other methods of corporal punishment are never to be used as a means of disciplining children.

  3. Environment is important

We like to work and play in attractive surroundings so our indoor and outdoor space is clean and pleasing to the eye. We provide a variety of activities to promote the children's development.

Why Choose Omei Preschool

  1. Home-like Environment

Children are comfortable and confident, feeling safe and secure to explore and learn

  2. Language

At Omei Preschool supporting children's language development is a priority as it is important for the progression of cognitive skills and their social and emotional maturity.

  3. Culture of Appreciation

We aim to help all children and their families to feel significant, Appreciated and Understood.

  4. Orientation Process

Makes the process of you and your child settling into a preschool routine smoother.

  5. Quality Educators

Trusted, highly trained and hand-picked Educators. We believe that educators play a huge role in quality child care.

  6. COVID-19 practices

Following practices will be implemented to slow down the spread of the virus:
    - Daily temperature measurement for children and staff
    - Face coverings required for staff and recommended for children
    - Hygiene practices with increased hands washing with soap and water
    - Cleaning routines - frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned daily before school and at the end of the day.

Pets teach responsibility.

Pets become friends. Pets enrich the preschool experience.

Pets help children learn in many ways - explore mathematical concepts by simply asking how much the bunny weighs, learn science by knowing what bunnies eat and how wild rabbits are different from domestic ones. Once children start to describe pets they begin adding new vocabulary and expanding on their language arts skills.

Imagine the enthusiasm our children will bring to learning and what impact will this have on their interests and their development!

Our preschool is unique! Meet our little bunnies Galaxy and Velvet
